Welcome Note

It is with great pleasure that we announce the launching of the new version of the ICC-Lebanon website, an informative platform to keep you updated with the most recent news of the Lebanese National Committee, and the economic themes covered by ICC the World business Organization.

ICC represents the Lebanese private sector in the international community and we are happy to enhance our presence through the various contributions in the different tasks that ICC aims to highlight, undertake and develop.

Over the years, we constantly endeavor to offer the best services to our members of different backgrounds and sectors, from local networking to international contacts. This was effectively achieved by hosting regional and international events, assisting our members within the global business community, in addition to introducing them to the ICC international experts in every field, by proposing candidates for the different Commissions and Task-Forces.

More over our presence internationally has received recognition, as the ICC selection committee approved the membership of Dr. Nayla Comair Obeid as a member of the ICC Executive Board for a mandate of three years upon the recommendation of ICC-Lebanon.

On the eve of our Golden Jubilee, ICC Lebanon aims to attract more members from different economic sectors. We pride ourselves on the rapid expansion of the members of our arbitration community which has expanded significantly in the last decade. We now aim at similarly expanding our network to the different Chambers, joint Business Councils and Business Associations, in order to set a platform for Lebanese businesses, where they can find the needed support and assistance to establish their businesses or to connect with their local or international counterparts.

Our plan for the coming years, despite the critical circumstances we are passing through, is to re-activate the pivotal economic role that Lebanon has played in the region. This mission requires coordination with the different players in the Lebanese scene and ensure an effective cooperation with our colleagues from all over the world.
